Summary

I have been working in the development sector for the last fourteen years and have worked across 15 states of India. I have worked with grass root level voluntary organization; organization of National International repute and two of India’s biggest corporate houses in the CSR domain. I have worked largely on programs related to skill development, livelihood promotion, poverty alleviation and agriculture development for some of the most marginalized communities across India.

  • PROJECT EXECUTIVEjun-2012 - aug-2014

    AMBUJA CEMENT FOUNDATION

    Implemented SRI technology across 5 blocks of Murshidabad district of West Bengal covering 6353 farmers covering over 900 ha of land with a 10 member team; Introduced 6 hi-value horticulture crops for the first time based on market feasibility study; Conducted resource mapping income impact survey for first time for all household covering 23 villages in Farakka block of Murshidabad district for initiating household based intervention; Initiated community participation in decision making by raising community contribution to 25 percent and formed farmer level institution FC in 5 villages for the first time linkages established with NABARD.

    RELIANCE FOUNDATION

    Led the planning and monitoring of CSR activity by ascertaining its compliance with CSR Act; Led a 5-member team of monitoring operation covering 15 states and across five different program verticals; Led the process towards development of FPO by program team and helping in the registration process; Drove the process of developing Annual Work Plan, ME framework, Monitoring Indicator and the reporting format for five program vertical across Reliance Foundation; Drove 6 mid-term correction in the program implementation strategy through 11 short term impact evaluation studies and 19 field visit reports; and launched the process of development of a customized software for automated process of reporting physical-financial progress

     Initiated SRI for the first time in IDEI in West Bengal.  Leading a 27-member team of development professional.  Reached 11712 farmers covering 3904 acres within a period of 3 years across 5 districts of WB.  Increased sale of treadle pumps by 13 17 during FY 2010-11 2011-12 respectively.  Developed training induction manual for SRI.  Have the experience of working in the states of WB, Bihar, Orissa Assam.

    Heading a 5-member team for implementation of PMKVY 2.0, a GOI flagship programme on skilling in Agriculture Sector; Key role in implementation of Skill program with 254 KVKs; 30 SAUs and 20 DACFW Institutes across 25 states of India; Key role in implementation of training with 357 Private Training Providers across 66 NSQF aligned job roles; and driving the skill gap study in the field of Agriculture in coordination with different stakeholders
