I have done Masters of Social Work and worked with children who were underprivileged, regular school going and disabled children,their parents, women for empowerment and adults for 2years in NGO and Education Sector as Social Entrepreneur, Campaign Coordinator, Teacher and Senior Counselor academic and non academic. • Social Entrepreneur and internaug-2015 - may-2016

  Deepalaya

  I started working at Deepalaya as an intern and after that I continued my work as a social entrepreneur in which I use to visit nearby areas to spread awareness among underprivileged regarding education for girls and why women need to learn and be allowed to be a helping hand to family income. I worked in a team to arrange various camps like health, nutrition, blood donation, cataract operation and awareness camps. I also got to assist legal counsellors helping the women come out and fight for their rights and later provided counselling to children with their educational issues as well as behaviour modification in areas where they needed help.

  Mission100 Education Tagore Garden for SmartPrep Education pvt. Ltd.

  As a senior counsellor I had to provide academic as well as non academic counselling to the high school students and their parents to help them choose the right options for higher studies by analysing their interests capabilities in accordance with the scope and colleges available. I had to visit schools to fix up seminars and work with my team to meet weekly targets to disseminate the guidance to the students along with managing all the operational and administrative work and submit daily reports to my supervisor.

  As an intern I was allotted different departments to work with every week such as in Social Work Department to prepare reports on various issues and conduct awareness campaigns; in Psychology Department to take IQ tests, psychometric tests, assist the clinical psychologist and even took few basic counselling cases with minor disorders or problems; in Early Childhood Development Programme by helping the parents fill up the forms properly and ask them basic necessary questions and lastly assisted the Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist.
