I am a social science researcher, with an experience of 19 years in the development sector worked at local, national and international level. In the process, I worked for implementing agencies, donor agencies and inter-government organization. Started as a career as an social science researcher at Indian Social Institute, New Delhi, I got the experience of developing Resource Centre at Prayas Institute of Juvenile Justice; monitoring and evaluation skills at Project Concern International, and during 2007-2013, as Head of Research Division of the international Secretariat of African-Asian Rural Development Organization an autonomous inter-government international Organization, I was primarily involved in providing consultancy on rural and agricultural development to the country governments of Africa and Asia. My areas of expertise include socio-economic research based on both quantitative and qualitative data generated from the fields as well as from FGDs, monitoring and evaluation
