As a India Program Manager, played a pivotal role in expanding and diversifying Embrace portfolio in India including, strategy development, program implementation, building relations with donors and supporting in management of Embrace India entity. Involved in the following activities as India Program Manager- 1. Strategy Development- Work with the Embrace team to develop and implement the country level strategy and action plans. Implement comprehensive needs assessments on potential India-based partnerships. Generate and iterate upon partnership strategy. 2. Program delivery- Lead the development and delivery of Embrace programs, implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks and maintain a continuous improvement. 3. Team Management- Hire, train, and manage India staff. Provide ongoing support and guidance to the staff, mentor and coach the staff for professional growth. 4. Partnership Management-Cultivate relationships with potential partners and maintain good working relationship
-Developing action plan in coordination with Collaborative Training Institutes CTIs in preparation implementation of the State Program Implementation plan PIP under NRHM. -Monitoring various health facilities District Hospital, CHC, PHC SC under NRHM in the country. -Monitoring various ongoing trainings assessment of training institutions for gap analysis under NRHM in the country. To liaison with Sate Heath Departments, CTIs and Ministry of Health Family Welfare MoHFW for trainings and various services under NRHM. Assisting BEmOC training of trainers for state level Master Trainers. Addressing non-training issues related to the performance of the health care providers.
1. Program implementation- Assist in site assessment, partnership development through follow-up and on-site visits. Manage necessary follow-up and check-in visits with partners. 2.Manage India field-based program staff- Recruit, and assist in the training of new employees, manager their work plans and provide ongoing support throughout the program and conduct on-site training as necessary. 3. Monitoring and Evaluation Supervise the field teams to collect the ME data. Analyze the data and share with Embrace team and partner organization. 4.External sharing of the program work Work with the field teams to collect and compile data, photos and stories. 5.Operations Manage operational aspects of implementation including unit procurement, shipping, product setup and training, follow-up, and additional logistics.
Embrace merged with Thrive Networks based in Oakland in July, 2015 and became one of the health programs of Thrive Network’s health portfolio. I continued to work with Thrive Network as India Program Manager for Embrace program with the same responsibilities as my earlier role 'India Program Manager with Embrace. In February, 2016, I was also selected as one of the board members of Embrace India-the Indian entity of Thrive Networks.
I joined Seva Mandir in April 2006 and worked there as a volunteer till June 2006. During that time I was placed in Jhadol block of Udaipur district and mobilized over 90 rural youth for computer education.
