- Primary Responsibilities
• Aid the deputy director –New initiatives in selection of partners.
• Responsible to enable partner in Recruitment of required staff.
• Ensure all documents are in place for partnership and coordinate with partners for procurement of the same.
• Help the partners in admissions and assessments of suitable children to schools.
• Focus inwardly on the quality as per the manual and guidelines of the programme, and outwardly on its coherence with APD district programme, standards and technical support provided by specialist.
• Manage the programme’ s budget , monitoring expenditure and costs against program planned and outcomes delivered.
• Coordinate with trainers at APD and ensure training for all the staff of the partners as planned.
• Facilitate and provide required support to all partners in smooth running of Schools.
• Effectively manage communication within project, APD and other stake holders.
• Ensure Goonjan update on regular basis to avail required reports on progress.
• Reporti the progress of the programme at regular intervals to deputy Director and also to the Donor as and when required.
• To keep track of documentation of your respective work and ensure to build systems and process for smooth functioning.
• Take care of the welfare staff under your care and support them emotionally and psychologically to ensure retention.
• Take care of medical and rehabilitation needs of all students enrolled in schools.
- Secondary Responsibilities
• To collect and compile Dist./State level education information.
• Liaise with education and social welfare department for recognition and other compliance matters to ensure the schools get all legal documents required.
• To network existing Government System, Volunteer Organizations, Disable People Organizations (DPOs) with RSO support and other APD partners within the region.
• To perform any other specific Task assigned by the Program Manager / Deputy Director.
• Experience - 2 to 5 years. • Qualification - Post Graduation.
Post Graduation - Post Graduate-Other
• Between the age of 30-40.
• Stationed in north karnataka local person from this region preferred.
• Essential graduate with experience or postgraduate in education.
• Out spoken and good communication skills.
• Basic writing skills in English to be able to report to Donor.
• To be able to network among schools and motivate them to take on our programmes.
• An experience in any Ngo is an added value.
• Knowledge of education system and schools of karnataka.
• Knowledge of disability sector or degree in this field is an added advantage.
• Confidant and mature enough to represent APD in different forums and schools.
