Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POST:

Under the programme, State-level Cells are being planned for supporting districts in implementing TADP and will identify cross-cutting issues related to policy, implementation challenges and sectoral support. The State Cells will also act as secretariats for all convergence efforts among key departments contributing to the “composite index”, for the successful implementation of TADP.

The Programme Officers (POs) shall be positioned at the State-level Cell in the State Government (Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh) and support concerned districts in driving the TADP mandate. The role also entails active collaboration and engagement with TRIF and the Tata Trusts ecosystem. The POs shall work under the guidance of the Central Cell and will work with District Cells to solve their most difficult TADPrelated problems through the Aspirational District Fellows.

JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The POs shall anchor the initiative in the state, establishing and nurturing strong and credible partnerships with stakeholders, resulting in the building of a multi stakeholder eco-system. Their role shall include gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses and strategies, developing, implementing and communicating on LWE-TADP plans and outcomes. The POs shall lead assigned desks at the State Unit and support Aspirational District Fellows in discharging their envisaged role and responsibilities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

(1) Engaging with the State Government for both programmatic enrichment and progress tracking;
(2) Analysing progress data of districts through MIS studies and on-the-ground surveys and helping the districts fine-tune strategies;
(3) Developing a bank of projects developed from best practices. These projects can be taken up as innovative projects under the LWE-special district assistance;
(4) Implementing a digital (online) dashboard for tracking the programme;
(5) All other tasks/ functions necessary for the implementation of TADP.

COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross annual remuneration budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and salary history of the selected candidate.

Eligibility Criteria
