Location: Delhi Your Role: The position leads the research function within CRY – Child Rights and You. The primary role of the research function in CRY is to generate evidence to facilitate both programming as well as policy advocacy towards CRY goals. The role shall be responsible for spearheading national as well as regional researches. It would entail conceptualizing and implementing research studies at national level as well as undertaking secondary research on various child rights indicators. It would also be responsible for planning and developing research strategies with the aim of primarily supporting its advocacy efforts and also to influence and inform its programming. The emphasis of this role is also on building organization’s knowledge on the various facets of child rights through research, documentation and analysis. The candidate must be a postgraduate in social sciences, statistics preferably with M.Phil and Ph.D will be given preference. The candidate must have 9 to 11 years including 5 to 6 years in a research and advisory role. The candidate should be technically quipped in areas of Research, Data Management and analysis and should possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Understanding of child rights issues would be an added advantage
