Job Description

The Associate Director- Research is a senior management level position in the organization. The Associate Director- Research will work as senior management team member contributing to research and evidence building on issues of MCH, SRH and HIV. S/he would lead research design, tool development, data analysis, report writing, presentation and work closely with the programme teams for building strong monitoring tools in the ongoing/ future programmes. Associate Director- Research will be responsible for: Key Responsibilities: (1) Developing business for MAMTA and its research and evaluation verticals; (2) Developing qualitative/quantitative research proposals, including designs, approach, methodology, operational plan, quality assurance and budget; (3) Leading a team of researchers – internal and coordinating with external research outsourced and International expertise under collaboration; (4) Independently spearheading and executing, evaluating research studies and assignments – bo

Candidates must have (1) Expertise in research – quantitative, qualitative, programme evaluation and monitoring framework & systems; (2) Command over research design and evaluation design; (3) Quantitative analysis using SPSS, Strata for large scale primary data bases and available secondary NFHS, RCH, NSSO data bases; (4) Skills of qualitative data analysis and software would be asset; (5) Command over development of technical (peer reviewed journal publication, International conferences entries) and non technical contents; (6) Personality and communication skill in English presenting organization at International platforms Qualifications: Applicants must be a Post Graduate in / Medical Sciences i.e. MBBS, MD in community medicine/ Social Sciences/ Social Work/ Population Sciences or a related field, from a reputed institute. Applicants having Ph.D. degree will be preferred. Experience: More than 12 years for candidate with Ph.D., 15 years for candidates without Ph.D. preferably wit
