• About Organization:RBRF (Rural Bengal Biospheric Research Foundation) is a missionary organization of West Bengal. The organization is newly formed on 2014 as an extended wing of “NATURE INDIA GROUP” since 1989. RBRF works in mission to 'Nature India'. More specifically, 'Nature India' concentrates in the forest and wildlife sector while 'RBRF' is focused on the biospheres; i.e. the human settlement areas approaching to the forests. RBRF is having its head quarter at Kolkata and that uses the extensive network of 'Nature India' in several remote places of West Bengal. A nember of researchers, educators, government officers, surveyors, documentalists and field staffs are associated with RBRF-NIG group. The group is head by the eminent conservationist Mr. Samik Gupta, the member of IUCN-CEC (International Union for Conservation of Nature-Commission on Education and Communication).
