Job Description

Job Purpose: Under the overall direction and direct supervision of Senior Manager – Individual Fundraising, the incumbent will assist to develop and drive the establishment and growth of digital fundraising and partnerships to achieve the desired target and to maximise resources and support for Plan India’s programmes to achieve positive change for children. This will include designing an overall digital marketing strategy, managing the budget and ensuring ROI while working closely with key stakeholders to realise the strategy. Key Responsibilities: 1) Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for Plan India 2) Manage budgets and ROI 3) Lead on Google AdWords activity (both Google Grant and paid) to help achieve fundraising objectives 4) Maximise relevant, high-quality traffic to the website using a range of online marketing channels and techniques, including SEO, PPC advertising, social media and email marketing 5) Own and drive following areas: SEM (Search, RLSA, DSA),

Experience: • Minimum three years of relevant and progressively responsible work experience • Significant experience in managing similar job responsibilities Skills Required: 1) Experience in a business-to-consumer digital marketing/fundraising function, 2) A keen interest in emerging technologies and the ability to spot their potential for advancing marketing and fundraising programmes 3) Experience in search engine optimisation techniques to increase relevant, high-quality website traffic 4) A strong understanding of using social media channels to meet fundraising objectives 5) Effective written and verbal communication; Knowledge of child rights based approach and the significance of digital media to advance child rights agenda will be an added advantage.
