Job Description

The Union is seeking qualified local candidates for the position of Consultant M&E – CTD, based at New Delhi. he post holder will work in coordination with the Deputy Regional Director - TB and Communicable Diseases, Union South - East Asia Office. Purpose: The Technical Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support to Central TB Division for planning, training, surveillance and monitoring under the Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP). Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Central, State and district authorities in documenting and establishing good practices in all activities under RNTCP, including quality assurance, supervision, monitoring and evaluation, especially in poor and backward districts, tribal districts and other districts in states that need special attention. • Provide technical assistance in timely and complete electronic reporting of activities and information, using the standardized recording and reporting system. • Assist RNTCP in valida

Eligibility Criteria

•Master’s or higher degree in Public health/ Health Statistics or other relevant fields from any recognized University. •3 years of (preferably State/ National level) work-experience in any public health programs/projects with experience in handling program surveillance data, operational research activities as well as monitoring & evaluation functions. •Good written and oral communication and presentation skills. •Ability to work and deliver services on time without compromising on quality. •Ability to work in a team environment. •Agility and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks as and when required. Willingness to travel to programmatic areas as required
