Job Description

The Manager-Finance would be responsible for delivering the role detailed below. The position is full time; Mumbai based and reports to the Director, Finance. Accounting and Banking  Oversee all accounting and financial reporting matters and work with the accounting team, supervising and training them as and when required  Improvise the accounting system for project offices/centres as and when required  Coordinate between all programs/domains to ensure same financial system and principles are being followed  Responsible for all bank related work  Ensure FCRA transactions are properly handled and accounted for Statutory Compliances & Audit  Supervise and ensure all salary related processing and accounting is being done on time with TDS calculations as per declarations/investment proofs received  Interface with Payroll/PF Consultant as and when required  Ensuring timely completion of audits and preparation of final accounts  Interface with auditors, tax advisors, HR consultants

Eligibility Criteria

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 1. Educational qualification: Chartered Accountant 2. At least 3-4 years’ work experience 3. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections and develop MIS 4. Knowledge of Income Tax, FCRA and Charity Commissioner’s regulation 5. Desirable: Prior experience in the social sector MANAGERIAL (LEADERSHIP) COMPETENCIES 1. Getting organized and ensuring results within timelines 2. Effective team management PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES 1.
