Job Description

: Shall work under the overall supervision of the Superintendent of the Institution. He/She shall be responsible for preparing the case History reports. Shall participate in pre-release programme and help the child or juvenile to establish contact with the family or arrange for foster care, sponsorship, after care etc. Shall hold visits to the residence of the child or juvenile to facilitate rehabilitation and social reintegration of the child or the juvenile released from the institution.

Eligibility Criteria

A Post Graduate in Social Worker/Sociology/Psychology/Law. Or A Graduate with diploma in child protection/counseling/child development from a recognized University or a reputed Institute may also apply. At least 2 years of experience working in juvenile justice system or with children in difficult circumstances.
