Job Description

Create strategic roadmap for SPA in the state drawing from the national plan • Create strategic roadmap for SPA in the state drawing from the national plan • Work on a business plan aimed at self-sustainability within a year • Based on CARE India’s Strategic Programming focus areas, identify suitable corporate fundraising opportunities, raise funding required for CARE’s programming needs for the future and develop a robust partnership portfolio. • Focus on generating restricted and unrestricted income • Leverage and grow existing corporate partnerships • Leverage the Companies bill and support the corporates CSR mission by strategic pitching • Ensure a robust due-diligence process in order to methodically and strategically select corporate partners • Develop co-branded campaigns • Follow up leads generated by the Mission Management Team (MMT) and others • Responsible for relationship building with Corporates around areas which are in sync with CARE India’s Program Strat

Eligibility Criteria

• Post-Graduate, preferably an MBA with at least 5-7 years of experience in Marketing/ Business Development. • Basic knowledge of mass communications, brand building, marketing. • Media, marketing campaign experience • Understanding of the companies bill and the CSR environment in India • Donor and/or Client Relationship Management (CRM) experience with Corporates, high level Corporate Executives, Corporate Boards, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, etc. Passion for and basic understanding of Humanitarian and Development Programs, and its Impact through Corporate sector actions

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - MBA/PGDM

• Financial acumen • Analyzing interpreting skills • Event Sponsorship, experience in social enterprise is a plus • Demonstrated success and knowledge of fundraising or business/ partnership development and application; • Experienced with product co-branding, memorandums of understanding, licensing agreements; • Highly effective interpersonal skills: warmth, tact, diplomacy and creativity; • Ability to take initiatives and a drive to achieve results; • Ability to work in a demanding and results-oriented environment as part of a closely-knit team (demonstrating patience, tenacity and grace under pressure); • A highly organized self-starter; independent and self-directed; • Detail oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills; • Experience working in a corporate environment; • Strong computer-related ability, particularly with respect to client management databases, MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and • Knowledge of poverty alleviation, Humanitarian P
