Job Description

Implementation of the project activities proposed in AOPB of the project in his/her respective villages.CM will engage and mobilize community members, leaders, frontline workers for the better health and nutrition of children.CM will identify ,train and strengthen MAS and VHND members for advocacy and implementation of health and nutrition related activities.Submit timely quarterly and monthly reports to the project manager.Act as link between NGO and communities, between children and local authorities.Assist in implementation of assessments and surveys as required. -CM will identify and train community volunteer like Peer Educators from existing adolescents and youth groups. -CM will conduct group and community meetings with pregnant, Lactating, adolescents and other community members on under nutrition & health. -Build relationships with local leaders, Frontline workers ( anganwadi ,ASHA, ANM) and existing committees ( Bal Bikas Committees, PRI and Village Health and Nutrition commi

Eligibility Criteria

He/she should have Graduate in Development Studies or Social Sciences and have at least 1-3 years of experience in community mobilization .

He/she should have knowledge of health and nutrition of kaushanbi district. He/she should have following qualities- -Community facilitation skills. -Capacity Building & Training skills. -Verbal Communication ( Hindi / local language as relevant). .
