Job Description

 Project and Process documentation and creation of various knowledge products  Knowledge Management (KM) and Exchange Strategy  Thematic Studies on Urban Sanitation e.g. Community toilets, sanitation financing, existing innovations in Tamil Nadu  Review and mapping of existing Knowledge Gateways and Communities of Practice  Strengthening / Creation of Knowledge Gateways and Mobilizing Communities of Practice (COPs) The KM team will also provide support in the development of Teaching and Learning Material. The KM will also work closely with the existing IIHS Media and Editing teams. In addition, he and she will be expected to contribute to other projects in IIHS UPP and Practice programmes. Activities and Tasks Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following –  Carry out activities in the Knowledge Management (KM) component, including preparation and execution of Knowledge Management Strategy;  Conduct sector, project and process document

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - Post Graduate-Other

The candidate should have a demonstrable track record in knowledge management, in the development sector. Urban sector experience will be an advantage. She or he should also have experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, good people management skills, and significant competency in project management. The candidate is expected to have exceptional writing and content development and facilitation skills, and experience of working across different media. Experience of working with government / donor agencies will be valuable. Preference will be given to candidates with Tamil language skills, and work experience in Tamil Nadu.
