Job Description

The Project Coordinator is required to support the successful implementation of technical assistance for CRVS improvement. The main tasks and deliverables of the Project Coordinator will be related to ensuring that implementation of CRVS activities are country owned and driven; technically sound and sustainable as well as in line with current best practice standards. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of senior Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) and TATA Medical Center (TMC) leadership and a CDC Program Officer. The Project Coordinator will interface between government agencies, D4H Initiative partners, and other critical CRVS stakeholders in the country. Desired Candidate Profile

Location of work and inputs: The Project Coordinator will work be based in Mumbai at either MCGM or TATA Memorial Hospital. The CDC will provide the Project Coordinator with a project laptop computer and dongle. The Project Coordinator will be reimbursed for dongle and mobile phone charges associated with the production of the deliverables outlined in these TORs. Position: This is a full-time position with substantial commitments, thereby limiting the Project Coordinator’s ability to conduct other contracting work simultaneously or work in private practice. Management of Project Coordinator contract: The Union South-east Asia is the contracting entity. Day to day management of tasks will be by the Implementation Team lead based in the MCGM and the CDC Program Officer based in Hyattsville, Maryland.
