Job Description

Prepare the project plan for the design, development and implementation VLCC applications. • Review, validate and verify the technical and functional requirements planned by the vendor team. • Assist in designing the application function requirements. • Work with the selected partner in the design, development, testing and acceptance of the application. • Monitor the delivery schedule and timelines for deliverables, evaluate if it meets requirements, make first level observations and get iterations done as required and monitor for closure and acceptance of deliverables. • Partner with the teams working pilot implementations at selected divisions/districts in resolving technology processes and applications. • Strong vendor management skills to deliver projects within time, budget and schedule. • Define/Review the Tech. Architecture for applications. • Define the overall security framework for all applications developed. • Manage the release of upgrades and setup process for version cont

Eligibility Criteria

• B. Tech/ M. Tech in Computer Science or any other Engineering Discipline/ MCA. 10 years or more experience in Applications Software Delivery. • 3 years’ experience in managing large scale Software Development either inhouse or through vendors. • 3 years in role as Technical Architect

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduation - B.Tech/B.E

• Exposure to supply chain systems and healthcare domains desirable. • Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle management. • Thought Leader on technology trends and innovations particularly in mobile based applications and open source platforms. • Exposure to government systems/processes beneficial. Candidates should have an excellent academic record, good communication skills, a commitment to high quality undergraduate and post-graduate education.
