Job Description

Vidya & Child is seeking a dedicated and capable fundraiser with a proven track record in raising funds in the international and national development field. Will be responsible for developing and delivering on the overall fundraising strategy of the organisation, supplementing existing grant funding with unrestricted funding from individuals, corporates, funding organizations and other sources. The fundraising officer will be responsible for developing a diverse range of sustainable funding streams to support and expand the work of the NGO, working in collaboration with the Director, Board of Trustees, and other members of Core Group. This individual will also be responsible for developing the communications and media profile of Vidya & Child at a national and international level. Salary will be as per experience and industry standards. Eligibility Criteria

Should be graduate. With minimum 10 -15 years of experience of working in Fund Raising, Resource Mobilization capacity.

•With experience in writing grant proposals and grant reports and/or Experience in business writing, networking, communications, and outreach •Highly motivated, creative and able to work independently on the goals and take ownership of the entire fundraising programme of the organization •Should have strong research skills. •Should have contacts which can be used for exploring new partnerships with corporates, grant giving organizations and HNIs. •Should have ability to conceptualize and implement different type of fund raising campaigns •Should be comfortable with numbers (financials) •Preferably with experience in development sector or educational activities with children of low income families. •Who has good organization capabilities and is methodical in approach and is able to work independently in a planned manner. •As a key member should be able to take ownership and willing to work full time for 6 days and stretch when required. •Good command over English language (written, spo
