Job Description

IT is an integral part of functioning of all our programmes academic or otherwise. Each centre has a fully functional Computer Lab where children are exposed to digital content as per their class and subjects. Besides this, we also utilize projectors and screens for workshops across different programmes. IT is also a key focus area for the organization to ensure reporting, monitoring and tracking of all our programmes. Manage Information Technology & Computer Systems across the Organization – windows workstations and laptops, installing/updating software, software and hardware inventory, license status, compliance with license agreements and ensuring licensed software use only. Ensure security of data, network access and backup system by building and following processes and implementing policy for the same. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time so as to provide support to users, help with trouble shooting, preventive checks and monitoring of malfunctions

Eligibility Criteria

Should be graduate •With minimum 10 years of experience of working in IT or System Support work.

•With minimum 10 years of experience of working in IT or System Support work. •Preferably with experience in development sector or educational activities with children of low income families. •Who has good organization capabilities and is methodical in her / his approach and is able to work independently in a planned manner. •Willingness to work full time for 6 days and stretch when required. •Good command over English language (written, spoken) and Hindi Language (written and spoken) •Thorough knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office – Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook etc. and Internet)

• About Organization:Vidya & Child is an NGO working for the past 17 years in Noida to help & bridge the gap for those who need education and have no access to the facilities for learning existing in our society. We work across 4 centres in Noida and 1 in Siwan, Bihar. Vidya & Child has a School Education program for Nursery to Class V catering to close to 1000 children and an After School Support Programme with an outreach of over 250 children from Class VI to Class X and a Foundation Programme with an outreach of over 100 children of class XI and beyond (in regular or open schooling or graduation). The programme involves academic and financial support to children for their school education. A very strong parent programme exists so that as a team the parent and Vidya & Child can support a child through school and help him/ her finish school education. Our Arts & Performing Arts and Life Skills programme cater to all children from Nursery to class XII.
