Job Description

1. Ensure the highest standard of animal welfare and veterinary care in all aspects of the program 2. Ensure accurate and appropriate record-keeping and data management, including data from the field team for catching and for release 3. Ensure accurate inventory and timely request for medicines and other supplies as required for the clinical operations, including planning and undertaking of necessary maintenance and replacement and repairs 4. PM will be responsible to oversee all operational activity of dog management program 5. To ensure all material and resources are available to vets, team to smooth running of project 6. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of program activities, data and financial records as required 7. PM will be responsible for hiring & train the staff 8. Oversee the submission of reports, maintenance of records, and preparation of books of accounts, expense reports and trip reports 9. Liaise with local project partners, including local authorities, governmental bodies and other NGOs 10. Travel as required 11. Organizing all logistics for program activities 12. Manage inventories 13. Work on travel logistics and make travel arrangements 14. Prepare bills/invoices at the end of the month Additional Responsibilities 1. Travel to other projects, meetings, conferences and training, and represent HSI at these events, as required 2. Prepare presentations, web stories, donor updates and other reports and materials (in particular, media such as photographs and videos) as required 3. Additional responsibilities and tasks as requested by the Program Managers

Eligibility Criteria

1. Mandatory : a. Minimum masters in social sciences/humanities/communication/development communication b. Experience in any project management 2. Preferable : a. Should have good leadership skills b. Should be able to do proper monitoring & evaluation of any project c. Excellent computer and internet skills d. Commitment to HSI’s objectives and mainstream operating style e. Excellent written & verbal communication skills f. Outgoing & personable manner g. Ability to work under pressure as part of a team or independently h. Willingness to travel regularly within India Experience : At least 6 months (but not mandatory)
