Job Description

1. Develop and execute a multi dimensional communications messaging framework, in line with BYST’s vision and objective.

2. Monitor systems and procedures necessary for smooth operations of overall branding marketing and communications.

3. Regularly assess the effectiveness of the organization’s communication channels and put in place measures that will create awareness and momentum, as well as test the effectiveness of communication activities.

4. Spearhead national communications and guide teams to identify branding and networking opportunities.

5. Effectively present information to internal and external stakeholders.

6. Leverage new ideas for promotional events/ activities and organize them in coordination with peer departments.

7. Manage media relations to maintain and cultivate existing, new relationships with representatives of the media.

8. Manage the marketing and communications budget, and ensure programs are achieved on time and within the budget.

9. Manage the appearance of all organization print and electronic marketing collaterals eg: Newsletters, external communiques etc.

10. Develop, coordinate and assist various departments in the overall brand positioning and marketing outreach of their programs.

11.Develop a social media campaign for existing BYST programs and be abreast of the latest trends and strategies in digital marketing.

12. Coordinate with the senior management team to identify and drive business development opportunities.


Reporting To :- Senior Director

Team Size to handle :- 5-6 

Preference & Age Limit With relevant experience :- Around 40 - 45 years of age

Eligibility Criteria

1. Minimum twelve plus years of relevant experience required in strategic marketing communications, brand solutions and public relations.

2. Preference shall be given to candidates having experience in development communications. 

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - MBA/PGDM

1.Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.

2 Highly collaborative style, should have experience in implementing comprehensive communication strategies.

3.Good partnerships and PR skills.

4.High energy, maturity to build solid team work environment.

5.Leadership drive with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions, both the strategic and tactical levels.

6.Sincere commitment to work collaborative with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants and other supporters.

7.Self-starter who is able to work independently and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.

8.Knowledge on digital marketing tools.

9.Basic understanding on creative designing.

10.Understanding of regional communications.
