Job Description

Planning and Execution

1) Counselling and Mentoring of Young Women registered in the program.

2) Develop and execute the strategy for economic empowerment and workplace readiness program called as Aath Kadam

3) Creating a detailed operational plan and milestones for effective rollout of Aath Kadam.

4) Creating and facilitating the sessions/workshops on education, employability and entrepreneurship with young women.

5) Training participants on soft skills and reference for Hard skills.

6) Maintaining database for documentation and record keeping.

7) Aath Kadam App management and content development


Networking for hard skills/internships/job placement

1) Establish mentorship programmes and internship opportunities in the industry.

2) Build and maintain contact with external stakeholders for providing internship/job placements to participants.


Reporting and impact assessment of Aath Kadam

1) Work with the Impact team on monitoring and evaluation and have the scope to develop tools with the team ? Responsible for preparing the reports of the sessions with the target groups

2) Explore innovative strategies to capture Aath Kadam’s impact on participants Though the above list describes the general nature of this role, the responsibilities are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. 

Eligibility Criteria

Essential candidate profile and qualifications

1) Post-Graduation in social work with specialization in counselling or any other social sciences/management from reputed institutions.

2) Minimum 3 years of experience of working with adolescent girls and youth in livelihoods/counselling/life skills delivery

3) Strong project management and decision making skills.

4) Strong people skills, and experience in dealing with a multi-cultural team.

5) Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in local languages required.

6) Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

7) High levels of integrity and loyalty, and demonstrating initiative

This programme wants to achieve that young women pursue their economic empowerment goals by acquiring knowledge, skills, attitudes, behaviour, experience and support from mentors, parents and the industry to achieve their goals.
