Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

? Assist in network design and implementation.

? Provide network support with a variety of operating systems like Window and Linux.

? Provide hardware and operating system support for the corporate and field computer systems environment, UNIX, Linux, Windows, and storage. Install and configure computer network equipment.

? Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.

? Provide network support to users.

? Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.

? Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources and security best practices

? Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

? Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.

? Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.

? Monitor network to ensure optimal performance using network-monitoring tools.

? Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.

? Create and maintain network users/permissions.

? Design, deploy, and administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems

? Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.

? Train team members on new hardware or software.

? Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.

? Involve actively in the various organizational and CI initiatives from time to time.

? Compliance with organizational policies, procedures and guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

? Minimum Qualification Required: BSc in IT or BCA.

? CCNA Certification or added certifications on networking will be an added advantage.

? Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts

? Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills

? Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities

? Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

? Knowledge of computing infrastructures

? Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools

? Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving ability

? Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues

Salary package (Cost To Organisation) offered for this position will depend upon the relevant experience, competencies and skills required for this position and per the policies of the organization. The Cost To Organisation will be upto a maximum of 8 Lakhs per annum. Desired candidates having the experience in the related fields are encouraged to apply.
