Job Description

1. Stock management, of teaching learning materials/Stationery.

This includes,

a. Collecting requisitions and issuing purchase orders to the enlisted vendors

b. Scouting for reliable vendors and negotiation of rates

c. Receiving, checking and comparing bills and rates.

d. Organising and managing available materials for easy retrieval

e. Distribution of purchased material/goods to respective centres

f. Updating stock register on purchases and issue of materials

2. Office Activities:

a. Managing Library book inventory and center-wise issues.

b. Maintaining the register of bills received and liaising with accounts periodically for amounts and quantities received.

c. Acting on any problems regarding supply as alerted by Centre Teams

3. Office Upkeep and maintenance

a. Ensuring that the office is properly maintained, cleaned and dusted regularly.

b. Ensuring that office helps are coming on time and hygiene is maintained.

c. Ensuring proper functioning of the facilities of the office premises.

d. Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced

4. Others

a. Maintain office filing and storage systems

b. Update and maintain internal staff contact lists

c. Assist with field trips and events implementation.

d. Monitor and maintain office supplies, reorder when appropriate.

e. Perform work related errands as requested such as going to the post office and bank, other centers, delivery of items to the various centers, if necessary f.
