About the opportunity:

Four dynamic organisations, Sanjhi Sikhiya, Samarthya, Mantra4Change, and Shikshalokam have collectively partnered with the education department of Punjab to bring in state-wide reforms. This association began in August 2019 and we have since then launched several programs which strengthen the system from within and enable the system leaders across levels. The current context gives us unprecedented opportunities to redefine the public education system. Our 5-year long partnership with the education dept places us well to design and launch programs at scale. This opportunity

provides anyone interested in systems change, education, and governance; a great platform to be a part of the change process and experience impact at a massive scale. The Program Manager will join a seven-member team that is collectively responsible for areas like Program design, Program implementation, stakeholder management, capacity building, campaign rollouts, monitoring and evaluation, documentation, research, and more. S/he will work out of the Department of School Education (Punjab) in Mohali.


Role and Responsibilities:

As the Program Manager, you would -

? Lead the co-creation journey of education change programs with partners and Govt. officials

? Design simple and scalable programs and establish effective Monitoring and Evaluation processes

? Review existing structures and processes, and work with concerned officials to implement improvement projects

? Assess and analyse existing government projects and devise plans to strengthen them. You would improve the learning cycles for every official by improving the feedback mechanism from the ground

? Build strategic partnerships consisting of various organizations and stakeholders


Experience Requirements:

? Understanding of learning process in a classroom and governance system of education in India

? Awareness of the state-level initiatives towards education transformation in different parts of India

? Minimum 3 years of work experience in education and/or partnership role preferably with the government at the state level

? Knowledge of Punjabi (Read and Write) is preferred
