Responsibilities:
•Conduct classes daily and coordinate with voluntary agencies providing education support services in the CCI to ensure that all children receive educational support such as: Bridge course. Enrolment for open schooling if necessary. Literacy and Non formal education for those children for whom it may not be possible to educate. Supplementary tuitions to children who are in formal education and need additional support.
•The educator shall work in coordination with thePerson Incharge (Superintendent)/CWO ensure that children in the CCI receive support to begin or continue their education with no disruption. He shall ensure that the children are able to enrol in NIOS and continue/begin their education. Obtain documents from their home to enable them to continue their education.
•Administer tests to determine at what level of education children are at in order to be able to give them appropriate support.

•Create and planning for new teaching methodology
•Counseling for those who are week in study and to be preparing assessment profiles.
•Identified skills from children and promote their skills
•Basic English knowledge improve in children

•Communication with education department, SSA, Department of Social welfare, corporate sectors, rescores person and donors
•Develop individualized appropriate behavioral programs
•Should take Weekly report for children evaluating and improvement from senior teacher and home manager cum teacher, and give plans how to motivate them, how to deal with those children.
•Should give monthly report on children education.
•Child progress report in education and extra curriculum
•Meeting and planning with team on education
•Support to team during teaching and other activities.
•Maintain the KGBV reports and assess the progress.
•Reports to parents(formal and written reports)
•Establish Personal rapport with children and ensure their emotional and psychological wellbeing
•Maintain smooth and effective communication between the children and other staff members
•Conduct regular assessment of children on designed and planned parameters
Educational qualification:
• MSW or equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience in team handling
• Good knowledge of English and Kannada (Both spoken and written)
• Experience of interaction and working with government officials at District and State
level
• Prior experience in community work, working in slums or working with street
children will be an advantage
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for generating and writing
reports and making presentations
Compensation:
• Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000/- per month (negotiable based on qualification and
experience)
