POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Project Officer – Chef Entrepreneurship project

Saath Charitable Trust is seeking Project Officers to implement the Chef Entrepreneurship project in Ahmedabad and Jaipur. All candidates must be able to travel to and work at a partner location, do field level mobilization and travel as per the needs of the organization. The Position

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Mobilize girls and women to attend the training

• Deliver Biz development training in coordination with the project team

• Incubate, handhold, and support entrepreneurs to set up and manage their businesses.

• Coordinate with the Project team of Saath.

• Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and reported

• Establish and maintain relationships with project partners, community leaders, local financial institutions, etc

• Monitor overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary

• Willing to attend project-related training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or diploma degree in food nutrition, food service management, or related field.

• Should have prior work experience in training, mobilization, and project management.

• Should be an independent thinker and a self-starter

• Should be willing to travel for work as and when necessary.

• Should be comfortable using technology, Microsoft, and Google applications.

• Should have been an entrepreneur herself or have had a prior experience with start-up micro-enterprises

Additional Preferences:

• Passion and interest in working with women.

• Skills in handholding and supporting micro-entrepreneurs

• Candidates belonging to project locations will be preferred

Compensation:

This is a contractual position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 17,000 – Rs. 20,000/- plus travel and communication allowance depending on the work experience.
