Job Description

Are you a development professional with experience in nutrition and education? Are you interested in building the links between gender, nutrition and education at the grassroots?


Chintan is looking for a passionate, self-motivated team builder based in Delhi to lead its work on nutrition, gender and education with urban poor. The candidate is expected to :


• Manage projects and teams

• Undertake timely and high-quality reporting

• Oversee quality control in relation to the project.

• Innovate to enhance results.


The position of the Manager is senior. Therefore, the responsibility to participate in strategic discussions, relevant donor conversations, and wider organization development is encouraged.


Who is a good fit?


The candidate is expected to have :


• No less than 5 years of prior relevant experience at a managerial level. S/He must have managed teams

• Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi is essential.

• No less than a bachelor’s degree is important, although other relevant degrees will be considered

• Typically, those who are passionate, positive, interested in learning, able to get along with others and build robust teams tend to do well in Chintan.


Reports to the Director:


The position is available with immediate effect.
