VASCSC is a pioneering institution, working in the field of science and mathematics education since 1966. Its mandate is to

stimulate interest, encourage and expose the principles of science and scientific method to the community. www.vascsc.org.

WAAH Trust is collaborating with VASCSC to popularize science and to promote innovative research in science that is useful

for the society. For this initiative, VASCSC is looking for a Project Officer, who is young, enthusiastic, having sound

understanding of education, science popularization and promoting innovative research in'Science for Society’.

Educational Qualification: Preferably first class science post graduate or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 2 years post-

qualification relevant experience.

Skills required: Highly motivated, quick-learner,

self-starter; excellent knowledge of English;

Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders

in collaborative mode; excellent working

knowledge of computer applications and

internet; ability to work independently with

minimal supervision; excellent written and

verbal communication skills. Knowledge of

Gujarati, Hindi desirable.

Candidates are expected to be highly proactive and energetic; possessing networking and communication skills, ability to

plan, coordinate and execute various activities and events efficiently. Problem-solving approach, mature judgment, strong

ideals, and the desire to serve as a catalyst are desirable. Preference will be given to science postgraduates with relevant

experience.

The position is based at Ahmedabad. The work would involve travel and the candidate should be willing to travel as required.

Selected candidate will be offered project appointment, initially for a period of one year; extendable based on performance.

Salary: Consolidated salary in range of Rs. 30000 to 35000 per month, depending on qualification and experience.
