Job Description

SAATHII currently has one vacancie for Training & Logistics Officer (TLO) position in Eastern Region State Unit to be based in Kolkata and responsible for GFATM projects.


Reporting to: State Director (SD). The TLO will be working at the regional level and would be responsible for implementing project activities and for achieving the project deliverables in the region within the timeline.


SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide logistics, admin and finance management related support in organizing the training of all BTHE trainee cadres

• Managing the finance and administrative aspects of the BTHE project in the respective regions.

• Logistic arrangements (coordinating travel and training venues, arranging for transportation and accommodation etc.) in conducting the trainings.

• Accept, check and process the travel claims submitted by the trainees, resource persons, other staff, and stakeholders within reasonable time

• Travel to project implementation sites/ TI training institutions for coordination and implementation of the project

• Manage all project related payments, documentation, and payment processing.

• Procure the supplies for the project as per organizational policies; Undertake all procurement as per the SR-SU policies

• Prepare SOE and submit monthly finance statements to SR-SU

• To support in financial and documentation work as per project requirements

• Coordination with SACS/DAPCU and other concerned officials

• Travel to project implementation sites for coordination and implementation of the project

• Support in preparation of monthly reports to the national team, and to SACS

• Complete adherence and strict follow ups to implement the organizational policies and procedures, donor requirement and statutory requirements.

• Attend project planning and review meetings

• Support during internal/statutory and project audits


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL-SET


B.COM with relevant experience of working in Administration. Other graduates with relevant experience of 1 to 2 years in handling admin, finance and logistics functions may also apply.

Experience of Financial book keeping and working with GFATM projects will be an advantage.


• Written and oral communication skills in English and regional language of the state.

• Admin and Logistics handling skills

• Sound computer skills, including use of internet and MS officeTM software

• Willing to travel extensively using public transport services

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and meeting timelines

• Ability to work as a team player in a complex, multicultural environment

• Self-learner and able to work independently with minimum supervision

• Able to work with the team with diversity

• Good documentation skills

• Able to work in strict time lines and extended working hours based on requirements

• Efficiency in solving problems

• This position requires a minimum of 12-15 days travel in a month to the districts and blocks within the designated state and outside, as per needs.



Remuneration: The salary offered for the position is Rs 25,000 to 30,000/- commensurate to last drawn CTC, experience and relevant skills and knowledge.
