Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the state level team, Mission Director NHM and program management unit in development, optimization and growth of the telehealth program in the state

• Supports in adoption and incorporation of various and suitable tele-consultation platforms in the state

• Supports stakeholders in refinement and improvement of telehealth operational approaches

• Provides planning, direction, leadership and expertise in the operation of the implementation, rollout, IEC, duty roaster, etc. for Telehealth services

• Formulates, develops and oversees the implementation of direct and assisted telehealth services across the identified facilities

• Supports Steering Committees and effectively engagement of medical colleges and district hospitals for service delivery and roster management aligning with leadership vision considering available resources.

• Works closely with the State, TSU, CDAC, Development Partners and clinicians for fostering and supporting the implementation of telehealth programs

• Supports in expansion of telehealth program to include specialty and super-specialty services

• Manages telehealth coordinators and equipment deployed at assisted telehealth sites and HWCs to expand the program

• Augmenting the telehealth application in the state both from users experience and technology aspects

• Monitors and evaluates usage, outcomes related to utilization, return on investment etc. as per states’ need

• Leads the development of various key metrics indicators for stakeholders to track and report their performance at facility, district or state levels on telehealth services

• Asist stakeholders in training to enhance growth and development on telehealth trends and compliances

• Support the State Program Officer in implementation of the Comprehensive primary healthcare project in the state of Uttar Pradesh

• Perform or assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Abilities/Skills:

• Experience of working in a fast-paced team environment to complete multiple projects simultaneously according to business and technical requirements

• Strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking, and time management skills with consistent attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain strong collaborative partnerships across functional lines

• Strong interest in creating solutions to problems

• Experience in and interest in learning new technologies

• Experience managing multiple projects and working independently

• Proficiency in computers – Microsoft Office.

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 % of his/her time.

Qualifications/Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelors in Medicine, Dentistry, AYUSH or Nursing is preferred. Master’s in Public Health (MPH)/ Post graduation in Health Management and /Community Medicine is a must

• 5 to 7 years’ work experience with at least 2 years of experience in Telehealth/digital health space

• Knowledge and understanding of Telehealth standards and legislations

• Experience of leading requirements analysis, design, development and operation of telehealth program

• Must have two years of experience with working with central or state health department.

• Familiarity with the Indian health system, newer initiatives in health sector including Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centers (HWCs), RMNCAH+N, and relevant government policies/ strategies

• Fluency in local language and ability to join early will be an added advantage
