Job Summary:-
Nursing trainer - In Health care Industry the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with organizations core values. She will be responsible for performing training, Training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions.
The GDA Nursing Trainer will be responsible for ensuring educational activities essential for GDA’s (General Duty Assistant) also called as “Nursing Care Assistants”, “Nursing Assistants”, “Nursing Aides”, “Bedside Assistants”, or “Orderlies” when working in a hospital and Home environment.
Should be able to teach GDA courses and instruct students using a variety of instruction modalities.
Responsible to review course curriculum for GDA program and update accordingly.
Planning Organizing & conducting the in service Training for GDA staff & evaluating the Performance & Knowledge Level.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans
Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
Keep abreast of developments in Allied Health field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues and industry professionals.
Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
Deliver training courses
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behaviour
Demonstrate Patient care in clinical departments of Corporate or Government Hospitals
Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
Proven ability to master the full training cycle
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
Familiarity with talent management and succession planning
Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI
Sound decision making and organisational skills
Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
Qualifications
Designation: Health care - Trainer
Qualification & Experience: Graduation/Diploma in relevant field with 0 to 2 years of Teaching and clinical experience in the area of Allied Healthcare and General Nursing. Nursing skills must be current and up to date.
