Job Description

Period: Appointment will be provided for 1-year period with Annual Assessment and Renewal on mutual agreement.


Location: Kanker, Chhattisgarh.


Role Expected:

1. Lead the Gramshree work in Chhattisgarh.

2. She/he will be responsible for establishing the base for Trust in Chhattisgarh. It will involve in exploration of geographical area for Trust to work in long term.

3. R & S of local staff and establishing a team within 3 months period.

4. She / he will be responsible for leading the organizational vision of impacting the lives of tribal families and establishing a base in Chhattisgarh.

5. Will work on developing the proposal with senior member of the organization.

6. She/he will be responsible for Liaoning with external agencies.

7. Overall responsible for implementation of work on in field and coordinating with our start-up in value chain intervention work in overall Chhattisgarh. She/he will be responsible for building a base of Producer Group covering 500 to 1000 Tribal families in the area and getting registered it under Producer Company.


Qualification and Essential Terms:

1. Postgraduate in Any Discipline preferably in Social Science, Agriculture, Food Technology and other from reputed Institute at National Level with 3-5 years of experience of working in Development sector, especially in livelihood and value chain.

2. Individual should be adoptive to work with Rural Families and stay in villages, block, and District Head Quarters.

3. Frequent travel required.

4. Need to be ready for re-location as per the organization requirement.

5. Need to adopt to work in small team, work more as an entrepreneur. Since Gramshree works as a start-up, hence multiple activity is expected to be handled by the team members beyond its area of expertise. This includes participating in community mobilization, training, development of product, managing the admin work related to project.

6. Individual should have its own two wheelers for movement in the field (Mandatory)

7. Individual should have its own Laptop for professional work.

8. Gramshree work with women Farmers, hence women candidates will be given preference.

9. One-year appointment has clause that one-month salary is deducted in 3 installments and kept as security. This amount is paid back after completion of one-year period in the organization. If the candidates leave before one year, security amount deducted is forfeited.


Offer:

Remuneration: Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000/ plus

Other support:

• Petrol Cost for two wheelers as per organization norms.

• Mobile and internet usage expenses as per organization norms.

• Travel for work will be covered by Trust as per organization norms.
