Working Area: South 24 Parganas District

Qualification and Experience:

Masters in Social Sciences with at least 3 years experience in working with programmes related to livelihood promotion, adult literacy, microfinance, health sector programmes not merely awareness activities. Should be based in the district for which applied. Should be willing to travel in the district extensively. Should have knowledge of MS-Word, Excel.

Roles and Responsibility

1) Overall responsibility of the programme in the district.

2) Supervise works delegated to other member of the team and mentor them.

3) Facilitate recruitment of staffs as per the Guidelines in case of vacancies.

4) Development of district implementation plan ensure approval by competent authorities.

5) Monitor the implementation of district plan and submit progress reports as per requirement.

6) Ensure training of all staffs when they join and training by STRC.

7) Make field visits, meet and coordinate with stakeholders at district and block level to address issues related to implementation of the scheme.

8) Support SACS/DAPCU in implementing various activities such as Condom Programme, Folk Media Activities, Mass Media campaigns, Health camps etc.

9) Work with various government departments ensuring that the target groups are enrolled, receiving necessary services if they are eligible.

10) Play key role in advocacy at all levels against stigma and discrimination.

11) Compile reports and ensure analysis by M&E assistant for programmatic gaps.

12) Submit programme and financial reports on time to SACS/TSU/DAPCU or any other agency
