Job Description

Job Role: Divisional Coordinator will be responsible for field situations that require frequent traveling.

Qualification and Skills: Postgraduate candidates shall be preferred. Knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi drafting and typing adds weightage to selection. The candidate should have experience of taking issues for necessary advocacy efforts at various levels with health advocates, communities, civil societies, and government departments. The candidate should have good communication skills and should be able to conversate for advocacy purposes with government officials as well as address public platforms. The candidate should be willing to travel across the State of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh frequently.

Regional candidates (Punjab/Haryana/Chandigarh) are encouraged to apply.

Nature of Employment

The selected candidate shall be initially offered a one-year consultancy contract after successfully serving three months probation period. The one-year contract may be extended subject to resources and the project’s continuity. We are looking for a dedicated candidate who can offer long time commitment to the organization.

Compensation Offered

Remuneration will be commensurate with the education, experience, and operational knowledge of the candidate

Location: Mohali, Punjab along with traveling to Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh

The founder was a practising lawyer in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, with her first case being Public Interest Litigation to ban smoking in public places, as a result of which, a notice to Central and State Governments were issued. With the passing years, the army against smoking and tobacco grew stronger with addition of various patrons from fields like Education, Administration and Judiciary.
