The Project coordinates and undertakes policy development, membership outreach and engagement, and project deliverables.
Key accountabilities
Membership Engagement- 20%
• Undertake research and analysis, and outreach to patient-led organizations and civil society in healthcare
• Provide a range of project management and support services, including the preparation of discussion papers, briefs, and submissions, to contribute to the development and delivery of membership engagement initiatives.
• Prepare and review membership engagement activities
• Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations to support engagement.
• Increase membership and outreach to include more organizations in the network.
Project Management- 50%
Manage NGO partners, patient organisations and other stakeholders, budget and implementation plans
Follow gannt charts and key deliverables and provide timely reports to stakeholders. Organise meetings, technical workshops, training sessions etc as per need
Communication- 20%
The post holder is required to establish excellent working relationships with key internal and external contacts in order to promote understanding of DakshamA Health’s membership engagement. A key element of the role is the ability to analyse and communicate complex, technical information to a wide range of audiences, both in writing and in face-to-face encounters. It is therefore essential that the post holder has high quality written and oral skills. The post holder is also required to write content for the website, manage social media and other related work with the project assigned to him/her.
Partnerships building and management (10%)
• Taking a leading role in developing and managing DakshamA Healths’ partnerships with external organizations such as Industry Partners and other
• Support the development and maintaining of guidelines and a forward view plan for strategic collaborations with organizations and individuals in-line with DakshamA Healths’ strategy
• Ensuring that DakshamA Healths’ has a clear strategy and plan for communicating about these partnerships and the associated outcomes through timely and clear communications using email, DakshamA Healths’ website, presentations at external conferences and meetings, social media and other methods as appropriate

Core Requirements
• At least 2 years’ professional experience in fundraising, specifically in the areas of health and international development or a relevant postgraduate degree in medicine/ life sciences/development(E)
• At least 2 years’ experience of working on international strategies and projects in the not for profit sector or publications/original research (E)
• The capacity to work in a developing organization with a minimum of supervision (E)
• A good team worker with a positive, enthusiastic and cheerful attitude (E)
Administration
• Sound IT skills including databases and Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet Explorer (E)
