PBMA’s HV Desai Eye Hospital came into existence in 2000, is a 95 bedded Non-government, non-profit, eye care hospital, set up in the year 2000 by Poona Blind Men Association. HVDEH is an NABH Accredited specialized eye care service facility located in the city of Pune, Maharashtra. It has gained widespread acclaim, both nationally and internationally its eye care services.

Key Responsibilities & Job Description: -

• Monitoring and reporting the progress of the project to all stakeholders

•Tracking program budget on an ongoing basis and providing status report

•Establishing project management system and providing technical support to partners for improvement in the management system

•Monitoring and evaluation of the project to ensure timely achievement of targets, grants utilization and smooth implementation at field level;

•Formulating & supervising operational research and studies to improve management practices;

•Anticipating, identifying and communicating discrepancies in the priorities, plans and activities for resolution within and across the project;

•Facilitating clinical & non clinical training programs of partners for skill enhancement;

•Preparing reports defining project progress, problems and solutions;

•Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;

•Coordinating with Finance and Operations team for preparation of financial reports;

•Providing accurate and timely updates to the CEO

•Performing other duties as required in the interest of the programme

•Preparation of monthly, Quarterly, annual and other reports.

•Documentation of all the records and reports of the Project to be maintained.

•Any other work assigned by the hospital

Qualification & Experience:

•Post-graduation in relevant field (Social Work, Health management, Public Health)

•Minimum of 4-5 years working experience in Health sector (Eye health/care experience preferable)

Skills required:

•Knowledge and understanding of project management;

•Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills;

•Willing to travel extensively within India’

•Energetic, resilient and passionate;

•Professional, mature and confident
