Job Description

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree preferably in Social Work, MSW, Sociology, Rural Development

Experience: 7-10 years in the field of management of programs relating to empowerment of the disadvantaged people in rural areas. The no of years is negotiable up to 5 years in case of B schools and other reputed institutions

Desired skills and competencies:

a) Strong relationship-building skills

b) Excellent programme and team management skills.

c) Good interpersonal skills and experience in working effectively in a multi-cultural environment, with sensitivity to diverse opinion.

d) Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, community based organisations, panchaytiraj institutions, including government officials, NGOs and communities in Rural and Urban

e) Experience in the Sectors of Disability, Inclusive Development and Social Inclusion is preferable

f) Engaging with various stakeholders at the national and state levels to disseminate information and build knowledge/awareness about Disability Sector and Social Incusion.

g) Organise state level, district level and Mandal level meetings and workshops and training programmes for dissemination of information

h) Understanding of other organizations, groups and individuals in the Disability and Social Inclusion sector along with government policies/reforms.

i) Excellent oral and written communication skills.

j) Must be able to communicate in both English and Telugu

k) Ability to perform and deliver under tight deadlines.

l) The individual should understand the organizational legacy and taking forward the organizational objectives, vision and mission.

m) The candidate is expected to tour the project areas 15 days in a month and do close supervision.

Project areas: Erstwhile Mahabubnagar Dist, Erstwhile Rangareddy District & Hyderabad in Telangana and Erstwhile Guntur District in AP as on today. May extend to any other districts in AP and Telangana

Head Quarter: Hyderabad

Field Offices: 1) Kosgi, Narayanpet District, 2) L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad, 3) Gadwal District, 4) Satthenapally, Guntur District.

Report to: The Project Manager(PM) is accountable to the Executive Director, Managing Trustee and other Board of Directors.

Salary: Rs 25 K per month
