Job Description

The Data Officer will be responsible for implementing the M&E activities of the Project; able to do data processing, preparing quarterly/annual reports on progress of project indicators, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project. He/she will be responsible for the collection and analysis of various data sets in relation to the project activities.


RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Responsible for maintaining the database of the Project.

2. Developing the various Monitoring and Evaluation Tools at all levels to assess the performance of the project.

3.Develop monitoring framework to track the progress of program activities

4.Design and development of formats in databases

5.Undertake data processing and analyze data collected for monthly, quarterly and annual reports

6.Coordinating with Information Management team to design, develop and implement an efficient MIS

7. Participate in Project/Brighter Future’s research activities and support in ethical compliance for program M & E

8.Disseminate findings from monitoring/evaluation data to program and managerial team

9. Prepare case studies, best practices, field experiences and other advocacy materials

10. Undertake periodical field visits to assess the systems and verify data

11. Provide orientation training for MIS, Computerized MIS, Interpretation, analysis & reporting for the project staff members

12. Oversee entry, processing and cross checking of data to maintain quality of data

13. Coordination with Program team to ensure smooth data entry and processing

14.Basic data analysis (cross tabulations, descriptive statistics) using Excel/ Tableau/ STATA

15. Preparing presentations using graphs, tables prepared in Excel/Tableau

16.Monthly data report generation and presentation for review meetings

17.Assisting in research or any other assignment as and when required

18. Monitoring the core and performance indicators of the project

19. Monitoring the program activities and responsible for coordination, collection and compilation of data on a regular basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly or as decided by the management

20. Increase capacity of the project staff and facilitators on M&E system

21. Implement the organizations communication, documentation and information strategies.

22. Develop concept notes & proposals and other documentations like annual report, policy integration etc.

23. Abiding by the organization norms, maintaining the organization décor and keeping a good coordination the senior staff members of the organization

24. Contributing towards the improvement of the organization in accordance with the time and requirement.

25.Proper maintenance of books and files.

26. Preparing meeting minutes and collection of data and photos and prepare descriptive reports.

27. Compilation of reports.

28. Ensuring adherence to Brighter Future values, policies and guidelines



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


• Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), SPSS/STATA

• Able to work independently on Business Intelligence System? Ability to analyse and integrate diverse information from varied sources.

• Bachelor Degree in Statistics/Computer allied fields.

• At least 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects

• Proven ability to work with digital data collection and visualization platforms

• Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software.

• Basic knowledge of qualitative research

• Excellent writing and documentation skills.

Able to write Social sector project proposals.

Remuneration : Rs20,000/- to Rs25,000 Per Month
