Key Responsibilities

This position of “Project Officer cum Trainer” is primarily to impart training for short term training programs in textile domain as part of Skill Development initiative and also to take care of the overall operations of the Centre.

Below are the details of the role:

• Conducting training in textile related courses like Textile tester, Quality Control in textiles etc. as per training session plan and content
• Should be able to handle both class room training as well as practical training in the lab
• Should take care of the overall operations of the training centre in addition to the training activity
• Should be familiar and use latest training methods to effectively deliver the content of the training
• Coordinate and schedule practical training in the textile testing labs as per the requirement of the curriculum
• Conduct internal assessment during the training period and provide feedback to the trainees
• Assist and coordinate the final assessment at the end of the course by third party agency
• The job opportunities available post the completion of the training should clearly be informed and oriented to the trainees
• Preparing training report, feedback analysis and program progress updates
• Preparing training schedules for multiple courses and multiple batches based on the requirement with the available resources

Working conditions/ job environment

Willingness to conduct training at multiple locations and labs based on the requirement within Tiruppur

• Under or Post Graduation / Diploma in Textile Design / Engineering
• Minimum 8-10 years of training/teaching Experience
• Additional certification in Training including soft skills preferable
