Key Responsibilities

This position of “Mobiliser cum Trainer” is primarily to mobilise the youth for the for short term training programs in textile domain as part of Skill Development initiative and also to conduct soft skills sessions to the youths.

Below are the details of the role:

• Mobilising the youth for the textile related courses like Textile tester, Quality Control in textiles etc.
• Conduct awareness campaign to the target beneficiaries to propagate the salient features of the proposed training and the placement opportunities available after the completion of training.
• Should connect with the colleges and other institutes as part of the awareness campaign to reach the target beneficiaries
• Should be aware of various mobilisation techniques and implement the same to reach the target beneficiaries
• Should also undertake counselling of the youth registered for the training further to mobilisation activity
• Conduct soft skill sessions for youths
• Based on the attendance of the youth attending the training programs, follow up need to be undertaken with the youth who are not attending training regularly leading to drop outs.
• Assist “Program Officer cum Trainer” in forming the batches for the training programs and plan mobilisation activities accordingly by preparing mobilisation calendar / activity plan.

Working conditions/ job environment

Should reach out to the colleges, community to provide awareness of the training programs. Should undertake mobilisation activities like pamphlet distribution, social media marketing etc.

Qualification

• Under or Post Graduation
• Minimum 3 years of Experience in training youths on soft skills / mobilisation and/or counselling
• Additional certification in Counselling is preferable
