Job Description

Location: Bangalore but extensive travel is part of the job

Responsibilities:

1. Lead on development of program management for the Sikshak NGOs through their Leadership

2. Establishing and maintaining existing partnerships, and explore new ones to increase the organisation’s reach and the resources generated, with Sikshak NGOs

3. Developing new and imaginative training activities to help Sikshak partners build their capacity

4. Ensuring delivery by the Sikshak Partners on agreed terms and targets

5. Reporting on the progress of the Sikshak partners to the DF management

6. Develop and maintain effective supporting journeys for the Master Trainers to support Sikshak trainers with skills required through TOT

7. Managing performance of Master trainers through regular one-to-one line discussions on the progress, plans and challenges

8. Drive the development of the training resources that supports the Sikshak partners with portfolio management and managing operations

9. Knowledge transfer: Best practices to be circulated to the Sikshak partners through training and workshops so that there is an effective learning loop

10. Weekly/Fortnightly check-ins to ensure that the training cycle is being rigorously followed at the Sikshak and NGO level

11. Support queries on day-to-day operations, recording them on the tech support system of NIRANTHARA and establishing relationship with reliable Helpdesk function centrally

Eligibility Criteria

Desired qualifications, skills and competencies:

1. Master’s Degree in any social sciences or equivalent from a reputed University/Institution

2. Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience of working in NGO sector

3. Sound knowledge working with NGOs and 8 years working experience different stakeholders (either directly or through collaboration)

4. Positive and excellent people skills be able to collaborate partner organisation with all levels and NGOs, comfortable working within the system and willing to take their inputs and be straight and clear in partnership efforts.

5. Mandatory working knowledge of English (to read, write and to speak fluently)

6. Must be able to use computer and handle internet, Word, XL, PowerPoint
