The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Child Protection & Gender Equality Policies.
About the Project:
Plan India is going to implement a project with the aim to increase the demand for, distribution and uptake of COVID-19 vaccination, particularly for the vulnerable and marginalized populations in 9 Districts of Odisha. The proposed intervention will focus on augmenting the Government’s COVID-19 vaccination programme with the objective to reduce vaccine hesitancy and increase demand for vaccine and strengthen the last mile connectivity. Four pronged approach to be adopted i.e. 1) awareness generation; 2) community engagement; 3) Strengthening service delivery and 4) innovation in last mile delivery.
Job Description:
• Support and coordinate project team to collect human interest stories, good quality photographs and case stories
• Compile the collected information and develop good quality human interest stories and case stories
• Contribute to strengthened brand positioning and visibility across engagement platforms in line with the MRITE project and Plan India branding guideline
• Ensure all publications and collateral meet MRITE & Plan India’s brand guidelines
• Collect field information develop contents for Social media and post in different social media in line with social media guideline of MRITE and Plan India.
• Compile district update , monthly update for sharing with internal and external stakeholders
Reporting to: The Documentation and communication coordinator will be reporting to the on all issues associated with his/her work responsibilities.
Essential:
Desired Candidate Profile Master's degree in mass communication, Social Sciences, Management or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the health sector, preferably managing documentation and communication of health program.
