Location: Sambalpur, Odisha

Key Responsibilities:

•Support in the recruitment process of new staff, including orientation to Patang’s principles and culture

•Ensure adequate systems for performance management are put in place and support to Directors and Managers, monitoring staff personal and professional development plans, ensuring job descriptions and contracts are up to date

•Proactively raise HR issues with Team leaders

•Work with relevant operations and management staff to develop Patang’s personnel policies and procedures including review of pay and benefits policies; maintain and update policy manuals and employee handbooks

•Respond to staff inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and terms of employment.

•Keep audit-quality, legally compliant records of contracts and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, leave, grievances, performance reviews, and terminations

•Support activities for strengthening leadership, team-building across the organization, including mentoring and coaching skills as well as tools for improving virtual teamwork and supporting a culture of shared leadership

•Participate in designing and delivering staff celebrations, gatherings and recognitions.

Educational Qualification, Skill & Experience:

•3 years professional experience in human resources and organizational development work in non-profit sector

•Proven experience linking HR processes to overall organizational outcome and impact effectiveness

•English and Odia fluency

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while ensuring confidentiality

•Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar, Skype)

•Post-secondary education in human resources management and/or related HR certifications are highly desirable

Pay Range: Rs.23000 to Rs.25000/-
