Job Description

? Anchoring the Agri Cooling initiative of Selco Foundation. ? Building a rapport and coordinating with key stakeholder groups such as local communities, NGOs, and various government departments/ agencies for effective implementation of the Agri Cold Storage program activities. ? Anchoring and integrating the climate lens into research, documentation and implementation of agri cooling technologies and developing strategies for the cooling program across geographies. ? Ensuring coordination with other teams within the organization for smooth implementation of the ecosystem approach and for greater cross-learning. ? Anchoring and delivering on new and innovative ways to communicate key learnings, concepts, processes, and approaches for improved uptake within the organization and outside. ? Developing a robust strategy for outreach andcommunication ? Conducting regular team meetings, as well as program-specific meetings to update all members on best practices and continued expectations. ? Uptake of Recommendations: Engaging actively with various networks, building partnerships with like-minded organizations and key decision-makers to push the recommendations forward through Government organizations, Ministries, Financial institutions, Donors/Investors, and so on. Initiating guideline changes, pilot projects, or implementations in accordance with recommendations.

Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply: ? Minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience is preferred; supporting leadership and or management. ? Experience in the Agriculture Sector and basic understanding of climate stresses and mitigation through cooling will be an added advantage. ? Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. ? Strong communication skills, both written and oral. ? Experience in connecting conceptual approaches and narratives with ground realities and understanding grassroots problems. ? Demonstrating proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision making capability and ability to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment. ? Willingness to learn, grow and develop at personal and professional front, at a rapid pace with a steep learning curve. ? Willingness to travel.
