Job Description

Raintree Foundation is looking to recruit a dynamic professional to provide high quality field and logistical support for its program and project activities and events. She will be responsible for coordination, facilitation, data, documentation, and reporting, and most importantly implementation of the program and projects on ground through community and key stakeholders’ participation. She will be working closely with Program Manager- Gender and Institutional Strengthening on executing field level activities of this thematic.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Field Officer- Gender and Social Inclusion

• Conduct gender training sessions as co-facilitator with knowledge partner 

• Hand-holding CRPs while working on gender training program in community and incorporating gender lens to other thematic areas

• Process documentation of day-to-day activities related to gender intersectionality 

• Planning the schedule for field implementation of gender and institutions related work based on inputs from the ground and community’s availability calendar

• Ensure quarterly preparation of field calendar and coordinating the same with community resource persons (CRPs)

• Responsible to ensure coordination with implementation and knowledge partners, resource persons or experts, and for mentoring CRPs for on-ground implementation of activities, new initiatives and projects

• Compliance to data collection process after every session

• Manage strong relationships with key government stakeholders and community

• Closely monitor schemes and programs at Taluka level and onwards to the project area

• Collaborate and facilitate the Communications team for field related information to be published on social media

• Responsible for building and maintaining the feedback loops from all stakeholders

Reporting to Program Manager Field Implementation

• Reporting to Program Manager- Field Implementation for admin and logistics support required in field and other human resource related work. 

• Joint reporting to Program Manager Field Implementation and Program Manager Gender and Institutional Strengthening for implementation activities on field. 

The above tasks, responsibilities and reporting are decided by the management of the organization and are subject to change or modification. It also includes any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by Head of Programs and Raintree Foundation from time to time as required for the program.


Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 5 years work experience

• End-to-end project management experience

• Master’s in related Disciplines such as Rural Development, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, Gender Studies or any social sciences 

• Skills of Project Management, Documentation, Project and Pilots Roll-out, Data Collection are mandatory

• Fluency in Marathi language is mandatory (Read, Write and Speak)

• Fluency in English language is desirable (Read and Write)


Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - Post Graduate-Other

• Minimum 5 years work experience
