Job Description

• Undertake extensive literature review to support analyses and interventions

• Lead research design efforts by developing quantitative and qualitative analysis tools

• Conduct primary analyses to generate relevant policy insights

• Develop research outputs for presentation and dissemination

• Support the team on ongoing programme related activities and programme

management functions

• Liaise with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders

• Facilitate local coordination


Required Technical and Professional Expertise:


• Master’s degree in Social Science disciplines preferably, Public Policy, Development,

Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Geography

• Relevant work and research experience of at least 2 years

• Strong communication skills in English and Khasi (and/or Garo)

• Demonstrated interest in programme evaluation, implementation research, survey design and field practice

• Familiarity with key databases such as Census, National Family Health Survey,

National Sample Survey

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills

• Availability and inclination to travel

• Willingness to work from Shillong, Meghalaya


Expected date of joining: August 01, 2022


Salary: Based on qualification, experience and skill sets
