- Teach classes through effective pedagogical practices and administer science experiments, English and other subjects (need based) to students in Government Schools adopted by Ashwini Charitable Trust (Kannada & Tamil medium and others) and Ulsoor Center after school program
- Teach Kannada launguage to students at the Ulsoor Learning Center
- Work with ACT Program Coordinator for Government Schools to assess effectiveness of curriculum
- Oversee administration of program by Government School teachers
- Coordinate with volunteers at Ulsoor Center and Government schools
- Liaise with Government School headmaster and staff on a day-to-day basis
- Track student progress against curriculum goals
- Provide timely and precise information from the field for monthly, quarterly, yearly or any other reports and documentation
- Providing a positive environment to engage students in the learning process
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with students, parents, community and the school team
- Creating and maintaining an aesthetically positive environment
- Actively participating in in-network opportunities for professional development
- Attending and participating in ACT meetings
- Making occasional community visits to stay connected with parents
Preferred Education Background:
- Graduate from any stream. A Diploma in Education or Bachelor in Education will be preferred
Preferred Work Experience:
- Candidates with relevant teaching experience are preferred but freshers may also be
considered.
