Job Description

The Graphic Design Consultant should be able to provide a creative vision and deliver on timely assignments, including but not limited to the following –

• Provide a creative vision while designing digital and print creatives
• Comply with JSCF/WaterAid India's brand and editorial guidelines at all times
• Design, layout of publications
• Design communication/ outreach products (brochures, posters, etc.)
• Design and layout of knowledge sharing products (briefs, summaries, etc.)
• Design and layout of fact sheets and advocacy materials
• Design branding and visual marketing materials as requested
• Design standard collaterals, such as reports, digital post, social media posts, posters, brochures, emailers and policy briefs amongst other requests
• Create infographics based on data points for reports, social media and other collaterals
• Ideate and design IEC and BCC material whenever required, including but not limited to posters, flip books, training manuals, visual aids etc.
• Support in design and layout of text in- English, Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu (as and when required)
• Create simple illustrations, if required.
• Ensure timely delivery of design deliverables and be open to some urgent requests as well
• Monthly Deliverables (Tentative List)

Here is the tentative break up for the deliverables each month. This is a broad outline. We will reach out in advance to discuss upcoming requirements: 

• 10 infographics
• FIVE – SIX collaterals (Brochures, Factsheets, Posters etc.)
• 10 small graphics and illustrations

Time commitment

The consultant will maintain a timesheet and update it with details such as task assigned, date and number of hours spent on the task [1 day= 8 hours] [½ day = 4 hours]

Payments

The consultant will raise an invoice at the end of each month, stating the number of days spent on work, and submit it along with the timesheet which shall be further verified.

The invoice should be addressed to Jal Seva Charitable Foundation.
